A writer of Contemporary Romance, Romantic Suspense and Young/New Adult

A little about me

Most woman dream of the perfect man, the perfect adventure. An escape into a world of fantasy if only for a short while. The one gorgeous man that will whisk you away from reality to his world and spoil you rotten for the rest of your life.

I'm a hopeless romantic at heart and have been my entire life. My imagination runs wild with romantic stories of what could be. It's time to share some of my characters, stories and romantic adventures with you, my readers.During the day I occupy my time teaching Drama to Middle and Senior students. One of the most enjoyable parts of my role is watching my students on stage performing. As a Drama teacher it is extremely rewarding.

The other part of my job is writing plays and making up exciting characters that, when onstage are the funniest, silliest, dramatic and sometimes sad characters. All of which I love writing. My inspiration to write comes from the storyteller hiding inside me trying to escape.

If I think about it my writing journey began when I was a teenager. I couldn't go a week without reading a Sweet Valley High novel by Francine Pascal or if the latest novel wasn't out, Sweet Dreams was the next best thing. To this day I still have most of them stashed away in my bookcase.

I always wanted to be a writer, but never thought I it was possible. It wasn't until I stumbled across the Romance Writers of Australia website that I decided to follow my childhood passion of writing novels.

So I gave it a go and wrote my first novella and although I had no idea if I was on the right track, I knew from that moment I wanted to be a writer, a writer of romance.

I joined the Romance Writers of Australia and it opened my eyes to the craft, and boy was I surprised. It's a continual learning process that inspires me to study, learn and hone the skills needed to be a writer.

It also introduced me to the most amazing people and fellow romance writers that are now some of my cherished friends.

I can't wait for the moment when I will see my first words in print, but I can promise you it won't be my last.

I hope you take the time to stop and lose yourself for a while in one of my stories.

Thanks for stopping by and happy reading.
